In late 1999, we purchased a majority share in Haru, an upscale New York sushi restaurant, that had already proven itself at two locations.
The original Haru opened on the Upper West Side in 1995, and its success was fueled by a combination of excellent quality and reasonable prices. Today, there are six Haru locations across New York and Boston, each featuring a distinctive atmosphere and an inventive menu that appeals to sushi enthusiasts and fine diners alike.

In 2002, we acquired the RA Sushi restaurants. Featuring imaginative sushi, fusion cuisine and specialty cocktails, this upscale chain offers a playful and award-winning dining experience with a subtly sexy and hip ambience.
Opened in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1997, RA Sushi now has 27 locations across the country.
